San Diego State has had multiple seals.  Two original bronze seals, constructed by alumnus Edwin T. Churchman with help from his wife, featured the Aztec Calendar as the backdrop for Hardy Tower and Hord’s Aztec.  The one pictured here was placed in the old library extension breezeway, in between today’s Hardy Tower and PSFA buildings.
